I have a secret. I didn’t make the guacamole at home. I totally cheated and bought single serving packets of Wholly Guacamole in bulk at Costco. My obsession is really real. But if you’re wanting to make fresh, homemade guacamole, all you need to do is mash together an avocado, some garlic and sea salt, a little bit of lime juice, and some fresh cilantro. Cilantro optional, if you don’t have any on hand! Click to read more.
Can you even count something that contains this much mayonnaise and has no greens as a salad? Whatever, I’m calling it a salad anyways! I hope you guys enjoy this “salad” on a hot, sunny, summer day. Maybe even with a cold beer or glass of white wine!
It’s officially summer! The sun is shining, it’s warm enough for a dress, and plants are starting to grow. Finally! Winter is a long, hard 6 months here in Newfoundland without much of a Spring… It’s more like “Sprinter”. So you could say that I’m pretty happy to see the sun. This recipe is perfect for BBQ season, so feel free to throw it on your barbecue instead of cooking it inside! Just make sure you oil the BBQ first so your tofu doesn’t get stuck (don’t ask me how I know that…). Enjoy with a side salad or, who are we kidding, make some homemade french fries!

I’m looking forward to overhauling my fridge with fresh ingredients. Anyone else do that in the springtime? If there are any recipes you would love to see, please leave me a comment!
Happy Sunday, friends! I have to be honest with you… I think this is the recipe I’m most excited about on my blog. I had never made cashew cheese for pizza before, and finally decided to give it a shot. The outcome? Perfection. Continue reading

Hey guys! It’s been a while… My MacBook decided to stop working about a week ago so I have been without a laptop. I tried the whole “working and blogging from my phone” thing, but that didn’t work out very well. I’m definitely the type of person who needs a full screen to work on. Continue reading
