Mango Ginger Smoothie

Whether you’re looking for a refreshing kick in the morning or a thirst-quenching drink in the summertime, you’ve officially found it. This smoothie combines sweet, tropical fruit with fresh cucumber, lettuce, avocado and ginger for a green kick. Throw in some seeds and you’ve got a well balanced smoothie with healthy fats, almost half a day’s worth of protein, and complex carbs to keep you full for hours.

This has been breakfast all week, and if I’m being honest, I’m feeling much more energetic and the brain fog has lifted. This smoothie not only tastes fantastic – like you’re on a beach – but it also makes you feel great!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen mango
  • 1 banana
  • 1.5 tbsp fresh ginger
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 cup sliced cucumber
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce
  • 3 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 2 tbsp flax seeds
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 cups purified water, add more to thin if you’d like

Directions

  1. Blend together and enjoy! That’s it!
